Schooling 2025
Schooling 2025 is a plan developed by the Department of Basic Education to greatly improve the quality of education in South Africa. DBE believes that in order for education to truly change, a clear vision must be seen and small improvements each year must be accomplished. Its vision is that every child receives quality schooling. By 2015, South Africa hopes to see learners who come to school because they want to go and because schools are accessible for everyone, teachers that have received the training that is required, school principals that ensure teaching is occurring, parents who are well-informed about the occurrences in school, teaching materials that are in abundant supply, and schools that are spacious and safe.
